The result? You get direct radiant heat. Instead of wasting energy trying to warm up the air—which just floats away—you’re heating the actual object or the animal. It’s a much smarter way to keep things warm. And let’s talk about the seals. This is where the cheap stuff usually fails. We use high-temp gaskets to lock out moisture. If water sneaks into the base of a lamp, it’s game over. The bulb burns out or your electricity shuts off. Our seals stop that from happening. A Few Tips for Setup The best part is that these are basically drop-in replacements. You can plug them right into your existing fixtures. Just do yourself a favor and double-check your wattage limits before you flip the switch. One word of caution: these things getintense. Because the heat is so concentrated, you have to be careful about where you put them. If they’re too close to a plastic housing or some dry bedding in a coop, things can melt or catch fire pretty quickly. Give them plenty of breathing room.
