Instead of floating in the air, this heat sinks right into the walls and floors. It pushes the moisture out of the porous materials where mold loves to hide. It’s basically a way to dry out your room without having to run a loud, clunky dehumidifier.
Getting the heat just right
You can’t just throw a random heat lamp in a bathroom. If it’s too weak, you’re just wasting electricity. Too strong? You risk scorching your fixtures or overheating the housing.
